Relief printing workshop

Join me at Bunjil Place Gallery for a 2 hour introduction into relief printmaking.
Inspired by the current exhibition Home Ground: The collection of Arthur Roe, participants will create an abstract relief print exploring colour, pattern and layering.

LINOCUT PRINTMAKING - GIFT TAGS AND CARD MAKING
Learn introductory skills of linocut printmaking, and print your very own hand cut works onto a range of gift tags and cards. Once learnt this versatile and accessible technique can be applied to artist books, textile design, poster design and limited edition prints.
This class will cover carving your image from a lino block, cutting techniques, safety and correct inking of a block.
You will take home a striking set of gift tags and cards, your lino block, full instructions so you will have the ability to print at home using this technique!
